Purajana is more than just a studio – it's a place where dreams and stories come to life. Founded out of a longing for freedom, connection, and inner balance, we combine ancient wisdom with modern science and technology in Frankfurt. Here you'll find not only yoga and Pilates, but a space where body and mind can grow, realign, and be sustainably strengthened.

Our Story
We were 16 and 18 years old, Sonia lived in Buenos Aires and Stefan in the countryside in Germany. Not yet connected and each at home on different continents. But we both already knew that we danced to our own rhythm. We wanted to feel the fresh air on our faces, to discover unknown countries and cultures. We also wanted to believe in our authenticity and uniqueness, to experiment and thus discover and shape our own world.
It was at that time that Sonia stepped into a yoga class for the first time, exploring meditation and breathing exercises. And exactly during this period Stefan started his own practice of Qui Gong and Yoga. One in Argentina and the other in Germany, but both understood that the world had not barriers but instead a big horizon, with countless possibilities. And there is when everything started: our big dream!

In January 2020 we created Purajana as a yoga-inspired and creative place for urban people of all ages who want to discover and keep their fresh and sparkly young spirit.
Since January 2023 we have a new studio - yay! – and we have even bigger plans. Our goal is to create a holistic wellbeing oasis that nourishes you from the inside and out. We combine ancient wisdom with modern science & technology to help you to recharge & find balance.

About Purajana
In Sanskrit, Purajana means "house of renewal" or "place of change". This name expresses what we offer you here at Purajana: a space in which body and mind can grow through the combination of traditional movement and modern applications such as the cold chamber and the Icaros training.
Here, you can fully arrive, realign, and discover a lasting, deep connection within. Purajana is the place where you experience a balance through mindful practice that strengthens your inner self and enables you to make long-term changes.

Our Studio
Our Yoga Studio is a modern and welcoming space for anyone wanting to have a joyful, happy and relaxing experience. Purajana is much more than a physical space. Just a few minutes from downtown Frankfurt and filled with natural light and beautiful plants, our Studio is a oasis of well-being right on Weißen Stein in Frankfurt-Eschersheim. Enjoy a delicious aromatic tea or just fresh water before your class, and meet people looking for a refreshing and unique experience. Purajana is our home, and we want it to feel that way to you as well.

Sonia is a certified Vinyasa, Hatha & Aerial Yoga teacher for adults, teenagers and children. She enjoyed her training in JaiPure Yoga Studio in New Jersey and Karma Kids Yoga in New York USA. She has also completed training in Flyoga in Heidelberg Germany and in Yogashala Rishikul in Rishikesh India. All of her trainings are recognized by Yoga Alliance International (more than RTY 600).
Sonia's yoga classes are dynamic and passionate. With her intuitive and empathetic nature, she inspires her students to find their own way to Yoga. She also promotes the authenticity and uniqueness of each individual. is always deepening her practice and her studies to continue growing as a person and as a teacher, to support her students along the way of self-discovery. To express her love of mindful movement more fully, Sonia completed her training as a Reformer Pilates (Level 1-2) Instructor at STOTT PILATES® (Toronto, Canada).

After many years in the U.S., where he worked for an international company, Stefan found in Pilates not only a method to enhance his physical well-being, but also a way to combine his love for movement with his passion for sports like football and tennis. Pilates became the foundation for him to move longer, healthier, and with more joy.
His training took him around the world, with stops in the U.S., Costa Rica, Italy, and Germany. As a certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor on Mat and all Apparatus with Balanced Body® USA, Stefan now brings a deep understanding of body mechanics and movement principles into his teaching. At Purajana, he offers Semi-Private Reformer Pilates as well as private sessions (All Apparatus) in German, English, Italian, and Spanish.
His classes are not just workouts, but experiences that elevate both body and mind. Stefan’s teaching is enriched by his diverse life experiences, his profound understanding of the human body, and a passion that goes far beyond the mat. He looks forward to guiding you on your journey to greater balance, strength, and flexibility—with an open mind and in a language that feels familiar to you.

In order to delve even deeper into yoga teaching, Jessica completed her 200-hour training in Ubud, Bali in spring 2023. Her Vinyasa flows are creative, elegant and dynamic, inviting you to consciously feel, strengthen and stabilize your body and emotions. It is important to her to create a beautiful atmosphere during yoga classes with the aim of ensuring that the yogis enjoy a soothing break and ultimately master everyday life with more mindfulness.

She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Frankfurt and expanded her knowledge in anatomical workshops to incorporate the physiological aspects of movement and correct alignment into her classes.
In her classes, she primarily teaches Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga. Her sessions are calm, powerful, and mindful, focusing on ensuring everyone feels comfortable and can take something personal away from the practice. By combining physical postures, breathwork (Pranayama), meditation, and elements of yoga philosophy, she invites her participants to embark on a holistic journey to their inner selves.

In 2020 Eva completed her first 200 hour RYT Yoga Teacher Training in Multistyle and Vinyasa Yoga at Vida Asana in Costa Rica and her second 200 hour RYT Teacher Training in 2021 at Sacred Path in Mexico. She is also a Level II Certified Reiki Master and has participated in various courses and workshops related to Yoga and personal development such as Psychology and Kirtan Harmonium.

As a trained and certified yoga teacher (500h teacher training), Naida teaches Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga as well as pre- and postnatal yoga. Her style is demanding, dynamic and creative, and in her lessons she always attaches great importance to adapting the practice individually to the needs and anatomy of her participants. In this way, she manages to create a challenging but also harmonious lesson for her students.

Since 2021, she has been dedicating herself more intensively to Pilates, especially on the equipment, and has found it to be the ideal balance to office life. This experience motivated her to gain a deeper understanding of the sport, leading her to start her teacher training in 2023.
Her Pilates style is based on the BASI routine, which means her workouts are designed to target all major muscle groups in a single session. She places great emphasis on precise movement execution for a safe and effective workout.

Jenny successfully completed her Pilates instructor training in 2025. Since then, she has continuously expanded her knowledge and pursued further education with great curiosity and passion to ensure her classes are always well-founded, varied, and effective.
As a trainer, she guides people in developing a better sense of their bodies, building strength and flexibility, and feeling comfortable in their own skin. She is particularly passionate about witnessing each person's personal development and celebrating progress together.
