This is Reformer Pilates
In contrast to traditional mat Pilates, Pilates uses equipment with various aids. In Reformer Pilates, you perform the exercises on a special sled. It consists of a movable platform with spring resistance, pulleys, and footrests – and enables a particularly versatile, intensive, and joint-friendly workout through a wide variety of exercises. With the combination of adjustable springs and the gliding platform, the Pilates Reformer can create resistance or instability – or even both – to make the exercises easier or more difficult.
If you've never been on a reformer before, you'll be surprised at how intense the workout can be. With each exercise, you'll strengthen and stabilize your core, while also engaging your arm, leg, and shoulder muscles. Reformer Pilates is adaptable to all fitness levels and is therefore suitable for everyone: whether you're a teenager or senior, fit or less experienced, men or women – we'll find the right training program for you on the reformer!

How to reach our studio
Our Reformer Pilates classes take place at our Pilates studio on Eschersheimer Landstraße in Frankfurt Eschersheim, directly above the Alnatura supermarket. Because we're centrally located and easily accessible by public transport, you can reach us quickly from neighboring districts and the city center.
- Take the subway lines 1, 2, 3 or 8, stop “Weißer Stein”
- Take the S6, get off at “Frankfurt Eschersheim”.
- By bus lines 63, 66 and 69, stop “Weißer Stein”
- Our studio is only a short walk of a maximum of 5 minutes from both stops.
- By car: Limited parking spaces are available on Eschersheimer Landstraße or Josephskirchstraße

Our semi-private Reformer classes are held in small groups of a maximum of six participants. This way, you get the individual attention you need – while also benefiting from the energy and motivation of training together. Because training together is not only more fun, it also helps you progress.

What method do we use to teach Reformer Pilates?
Our method combines the principles of the original work from Joseph Pilates (correct physical alignment, center, control, breathing, flowing movement, and concentration) with the refinement and the anatomical understanding of contemporary schools of Pilates. In our studio we are using Balanced Body® equipment (Allegro Reformer).
Do I need a private introduction to Reformer Pilates?
Yes, and you'll love it! During the private introduction, you'll get to know the reformer and feel how it strengthens and aligns your body. You'll learn how to use it safely and effectively so that every movement achieves its full effect. This way, you'll start your first workout with confidence and ease.
What can you expect from your private Reformer Pilates introduction?
Your personalized introduction. We'll analyze your posture, clarify the key principles, and familiarize you with the Pilates Reformer. After your first workout, you'll immediately feel how it guides, strengthens, and aligns your movements—the perfect foundation for your practice.
