Yoga for teens?
Our Teen Yoga classes are designed to guide you on your journey to self-discovery and well-being, providing you with tools to face the challenges of growing up. We know that the teenage years can often be overwhelming, so at Purajana we create a space where you can develop self-awareness, build positive body image, and strengthen emotional resilience.
In our diverse and inclusive classes, which are non-competitive, you can connect with others in a safe, caring environment.
What can you expect from Teen Yoga?
Yoga Exercises: Our Teen Yoga classes offer a variety of asanas (yoga postures) that are individually adapted so that everyone can participate, regardless of their level of experience. Safety and self-confidence are our top priority. Partner and group exercises are also fun and strengthen cohesion and support within the group.
Breathing Exercises: Breathing techniques (pranayama) are an important component for managing stress and promoting relaxation. We teach techniques that you can also use off the mat to stay calm and focused in difficult moments.
Mindfulness and Relaxation: Our Teen Yoga classes include mindfulness exercises that support you in cooperating with one another and developing self-regulation. Through relaxation and visualization exercises, we promote emotional resilience and a positive attitude.
